Wear Evidence — LIVIRIS

Report-led evidence

Wear Evidence.

Material performance is only the beginning. Once LIVIRIS™ is incorporated into a wearable product, evidence must be evaluated according to the body zone, product configuration, wearing conditions and study design.

Reported results

  • Blood flow: 80% of volunteers experienced an increase in blood flow at the wrist.
  • Blood flow velocity: 60% of volunteers experienced an increase in blood-flow velocity at the wrist.
  • Thermal imaging: thermal infrared imaging showed an increase in temperature at the wearing site.

Approved public wording

“In a human volunteer wear study involving 10 healthy volunteers wearing the tested product for seven consecutive days, 80% of volunteers showed an increase in wrist blood flow, 60% showed an increase in wrist blood-flow velocity, and thermal infrared imaging showed an increase in temperature at the wearing site under the reported study conditions. These observations apply to the tested product, wrist application, participants and study conditions and should not be generalized to other body zones or populations.”

Scope of evidence

Wear evidence applies only to the tested product configuration, body zone, participants, exposure conditions, measurement methods and endpoints identified in each study.

Human observations, cellular experiments and mechanistic research represent different levels of evidence and must not be combined or generalized beyond their stated scope.
